Pepper and Melanie
Pepper (left) is in a far better place. I am sure if there is a doggie heaven that God has assigned Pepper to a job for some one 10 times his size, for at 9 lbs. he bossed this entire household of 20 cats (all bigger than him) and two other canine house mates, one of which weighed in at about 90lbs. I would take him back in a second if he were just sightless, but he seemed to develop many other unexplainable medical problems at just about the same time as the total loss of sight.
